Kelly Mulligan Uller --- Founder, New Ventures

New Ventures is led by Kelly Uller, whose thirty years in accounting and finance span global asset managers and hedge funds, Fortune 5 companies, and start-up ventures. The practice provides financial leadership through strategic thinking, continuous process improvement, and a strong controls background — along with deep industry connections that put clients in front of the right subject matter experts when it counts.

Current work

Current engagements focus on third-party service provider selection for emerging managers, fund financing, transitioning and implementing fund administrators, compliance projects, and operational efficiency reviews.

Community

For more than ten years, Kelly's community work has centered on growing youth sport and on equity of access to it. That means introducing new players to games they might otherwise never try, and building programs governed by their own boards, funded by their own budgets, and free to invest what they raise back into their own athletes.

She is co-founder and board member of Wellesley Youth Field Hockey, a 501(c)(3) recreational program open to all youth players and one of the largest youth field hockey programs in Massachusetts. She is also co-founder and board member of Wellesley Girls Lacrosse — among the largest girls lacrosse programs in the state — which she helped establish by co-leading the split of Wellesley Youth Lacrosse into separate girls' and boys' programs so that each could govern and fund itself.

Wellesley Youth Field Hockey also runs the only youth field hockey umpire training program in Massachusetts, open to participants from any town. The program develops officials from youth players through experienced adults, and employs and pays them across its programs, including the spring league the organization operates.

Both organizations partner with Wellesley High School and with collegiate programs at Wellesley College and Babson College, and both donate to other 501(c)(3) organizations supporting community athletics and girls' sport.
